Glenville Ashby

Glenville Ashby is a graduate of the University of the West Indies, St Augustine campus. He served as an educator in Trinidad for seven years before migrating to the United States. There, he briefly continued in the teaching profession before joining the US military. He later embarked on a journalism career. Trained at the London School of Journalism, and Cleland Thom Journalism Training Institute in Sussex, Glenville became editor of World News Forum and has written extensively for New York Resident Magazine, and Carib News.

In 2004 he assumed duties as foreign correspondent and international news analyst for the Pillar. His many achievements include a documentary, 'Yes Bush, No!' about the Iraq war; interviews with numerous Ambassadors to the United Nations; and a recent interview with legendary cricketer turned politician, Imran Khan of Pakistan.

Glenville is currently managing editor of The Diplomatic Monitor and an accredited journalist at the US Department of State Foreign Press. He is enrolled in a PhD programme at Euclid University Consortium in Washington and is expected to travel extensively throughout Latin America as part of his dissertation requirement.
