Yakub Sidamo Grant, is a multi media designer specializing in videography and music production. One of the Creative Directors of “Symbiont “, an innovative think tank and studio housing a collective of designers, programmers, engineers and architects all with a strong sense of social ethics, eco design and sustainable development. He and his team are forging new alliances in the creative industry in Jamaica, pushing for collaboration across the industry working on the praxis that together we are stronger.

Yakub graduated from the University of the Arts, London, where he received a First Class degree with honours in Digital Media. He now teaches at both the Edna Manley College of Visual and Performing Arts and at CARIMAC.
