This is a studio based motion graphics course with an emphasis on learning the features and functions of After Effects. This course introduces the concept, production, and aesthetics of motion graphic design. Students will learn to integrate the components of typography, graphics, photography, video, and audio to create rich time-based projects.

Skills and Tools Needed: Students should possess fair knowledge of computers and have some basic understanding of graphic design, illustration and video production. Knowledge of other Adobe software tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator would be an asset. Students should possess a jump drive as well as internet access outside of class.
