Graphic Design (Advanced)

This module exposes students to creative designing in specific contexts. They will experiment with different styles for a specific item, eg. a brochure, flyer or logo. They will analyse existing items to find the determining elements of style, such as cultural references, symbolism, and semiotics. They will associate graphic effects and styles. They will produce communication tools.

Dates and Times:  June 16 - June 21 (M, Tu, W, Th and Sa); weekdays 6 pm - 9 pm, Saturday 10 am - 5 pm

Venue: UWI, Mona Campus

Skills/Tools Needed: Graphic Design 1 or graphic experience with good knowledge of Photoshop, Corel Draw and/or Adobe Illustrator.
