Media Training for Executives - Workshop
Do you have to represent yourself or your company to the media? Does the thought of giving an interview for print, television or radio scare you? Learn how to master the media in CARIMAC's short course, Intensive Media Training. Designed for executives, entertainers, government employees, non-profit representatives or anyone who needs to interact with the media, the course covers the basics in working with the media before, during and after interviews:
Learn how to:
- Develop an effective media relations strategy
- Design and deliver effective messages (quotes for print and sound bytes for radio and television)
- Handle difficult or hostile interviewers
- Use voice and speech techniques to master radio interviews
- Enhance your on-camera presence in television interviews
The course is taught over four Saturdays. Students will participate in mock interviews and press conferences and will receive audio and video recording of their sessions with detailed feedback.
